Alaska 2010 Daily News and Photo:
May 31st Vancouver, British Columbia,
Good morning from The island Princess. We are cruising in Johnstone Strait about 150 miles North of Vancouver, BC. It is mostly cloudy with a slight breeze and calm seas.
Our departure from Vancouver was literally with a flash of lightening and a roll of thunder as a thunder storm rolled through the area. The photo is looking back towards Vancouver after passing through the storm. Four hours latter we were treated to a fantastic sunset. I added it as a bonus photo.
Currently one of the clouds has fallen down and we are heading through a solid fog bank. Today is an at sea day with no port calls. We will be on whale watch.
