June 9th Glacier Bay, Alaska (Cruising),
First off you may remember that I was headed out to the stern at 10:30 last night because I thought a sunset may develop. You can be the judge of that.
Today we were back in Glacier Bay. Last week was kind of a let down for me. It wasn't the lighting or weather as much as it was the glaciers. I was expecting many more bergs than there were and just a better all around experience. They did do better as far as getting closer to the ice today and did take us into Reid Glacier. This made up a lot for last week. I still think Tracy Arm is better for ice in the water.
You have a sunset from last night and a glacier from today. I will end this with an extra shot. Just call it Eagle On Ice.
Tomorrow is back to Skagway and a drive trip across the border and up to see some of what the Yukon has to offer.
