I have been playing with more studio images lately working with more stacked images and reflections. (don’t forget to click on the images for full size)
Melted Snow
I took off on Sunday and went shooting with a friend from the local photography club. We headed up in to the Oregon Cascades on the Aufderhide Scenic Byway in search of mini water falls on some of the many creeks that fill with snow runoff this time of the year. We managed to find a few of them that were still running pretty strong. In making a run up an old logging road to one of my favorite East looking viewpoints, we did find there was still some snow hanging around at the 5000 foot level.

Working With Zerene Stacker For Added Depth of Field
Zerene Stacker is software that allows you to merge together images taken of the same subject at different points of focus and merge them together for a deeper depth of field. NPPNW Spring Entries
These images are the ones that I entered in the 2012 Spring competition at Nature Photographers Of The Pacific Northwest being held this Saturday in Portland, Oregon. The keynote speaker will be George Lepp. It will be a case of learning from one of the best out there.
