Flash Bar

Version II of the Flash Bar. I think I am close to getting what I wanted out of it. There is still a lot of tweaking that can be done as far as color. This is a total on 119 images. 17 focus layers with 7 exposures in each. (click for large view)

Chinese Geese

We went and wandered around the park for a while this afternoon and ran across a family of Chinese Geese that were pretty well behaved and didn’t mind the sound of the shutter clicking at them. Next time I go I will have to remember to put a few peanuts in my pocket. There was one very friendly tree squirrel that came running up to me begging for food.

Car-wash North Carolina Style

Got the car washed at Bridalveil Falls in North Carolina today. There is actually a turn off on the road to drive under the falls. The big thing I see missing down here on any of the rivers or waterfalls is the moss we have in Oregon. Also no soap at the carwash. Pretty cool…

View From Kelly Butte In Springfield, Oregon

A couple of five image HDR shots using the 8mm Rokinon fisheye lens. I was using the 40D for these so the image filled the frame. This view is looking East towards the Oregon Cascade Range. When the clouds are not backed up you can see peaks The Three Sisters from this location.
