ML on 5D MKII

I went out last evening to work with the HDR bracketing feature in the Magic Lantern firmware on my 5D MKII. The images are more of a test under some pretty harsh lighting than trying to shoot “WOW” photos. I’m pretty impressed with what it will do so far. There will be more testing this…

View From Kelly Butte In Springfield, Oregon

A couple of five image HDR shots using the 8mm Rokinon fisheye lens. I was using the 40D for these so the image filled the frame. This view is looking East towards the Oregon Cascade Range. When the clouds are not backed up you can see peaks The Three Sisters from this location.

Spring in black and white

I have been told that it is sacrilegious to convert a daffodil to black and white because of the great yellows representing Spring. Oh well ~ Click for the large image.

Ghosts In The Night

I needed some images for a theme in our photography club competition and had been going  to get out for weeks to shoot these. While the reflections would have been better in the street if it had been raining I just haven’t been in the mood to play outdoors at night in the rain. Exposure…
