Population Control
Every now and then one of a pair of hawks stops by the house to snag the fixings for a pigeon pot pie. I was fortunate enough to have this guy stop by on my birthday. I believe it is a Coopers Hawk. It is really hard to tell the difference between the Coopers and the Sharp Shinned other than size and this one was just in between.
I hope he got his meal somewhere and I think him for not leaving me a pile of feathers to clean up in the back yard.
